Lunchtime cycle meet - back door open before noon. Strange goings on with the London Pride. Good, traditional pub but could be more adventurous with their ales.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentTop condition.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10ExcellentA new barrel on just after opening time. It was the best Pride I’d had in a long while - but the guvnor told the barman to take it off as he said it was too lively!

Sunday lunch, just after noon. Extremely busy. 5 cyclist/drinkers were allowed a table for an hour and then had to move on.

Early afternoon- here for the beer, cider and music festival - on all over the Easter weekend. Beers in the stable block - reasonable choice for a pub with limited offerings normally. Pleasantly busy in the sunshine.

Cycle meet, Sunday lunchtime. Seven of us enjoyed it, seems like a good community pub. Shame about the lack of choice on ales - just the TT Landlord on today.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30ExcellentWell kept, top condition.

My first new pub for over 6 months. Large outside area with good shelter. For what I could see of the pub it looked like a traditional village local.

Got there about lunch time and went into the comfy saloon bar which was empty. The public bar seemed busy with locals. The barman was friendly.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Black Sheep - Best Bitter3.80GoodLoverly sweet bitter tasting copper coloured beer with a long satisfying bitter finish (I could write for a beer magazine you know)
Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%)3.40Not TriedLets have a competition to see if we can find a pub that doesn't have this on
