Just stayed for a coffee after a long walk with the family. Didn't fancy a pint. Didn't notice the beers, two or three Marina bitters (aka Blythe beers) and peddy.

Lunchtime visit so only a few in and for a quick half. Check out the link for the unique Pump clip! http://www.pumpclipmuseum.com/USERIMAGES/WATERFRONT%20HP(4).JPG
BeerABVScoreNotes
Blythe - Barton Pale Ale4.30GoodEstimated ABV (couldn't see it on the clip), I think this is a rebadged version of its Hegware (?) light ale. Very bitter, smooth, slightly too much head, but pleasant with the bitterness increasing as the beer went down. Some citrus.

The pub is found in Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire, DE13 8DZ.

Imposing canalside development. Found it's way into the GBG, has a good selection of ales (7 handpulls) including two own brews (brewed by Blythe of Stafford). Great beer, gets busy, recommended

We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
