A murky Saturday evening.Plenty of drinkers and their dogs.We sat to one side and discussed sheep and educational matters. Food unfortunately not up to scratch.

Attractive sixteenth century coaching-inn style pub in rural village off the Hog's Back. Narrow bar surrounding central serving area. Hops above the bar, beams and open fire. Dogs welcome (also walkers!).

We have visited this pub twice, seen 8 different beers and tried 4 of them.
