Afternoon - a school reunion- over 30 of us - 50 years on from leaving school - rather swamped the rear bar and function room. A strange sight for anyone popping in for a quiet pint.

A short wait outside before we were welcomed in and completed the now ubiquitous protocols before being escorted to our table.

The pub is found in Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2AW.

Corner pub/hotel in Mill Lane near the River Stour. Once the home of Canterbury Brewery, an early Kentish micro-brewery, in the 1980s. Just a tad corporate décor wise. Nice location on the Stour with very attractive buildings around it. Long central bar serves up to 3 hand pulled Shepherd Neame beers. Conservatory and restaurant area around a corner.

We have visited this pub 29 times, seen 12 different beers and tried 10 of them.
