I had heard that this pub had re-opened very recently, and it sounded promising so I decided to pay a visit. Sittingbourne used to be a difficult journey by public transport from Ashford, but now it is easy with a simple change at Ebbsfleet. It was a rainy Thursday lunch time, with just one other customer in the pub, who had travelled by 'bus from Faversham. We sat and chatted to the landlord who is running the pub on a holding agreement with Enterprise Inns, he hopes to be able to get some beers from the SIBA list in the future.

The pub is found in Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 4RT.

A plain and simple one bar pub with a U shaped bar. There are no handpumps or keg fonts, just beer and cider served on gravity. A peaceful retreat from the nearby High Street, and handy for the Central Pie Shop nearby.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
