BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Festiv'Ale3.80ExcellentPale and hoppy beer with tropical hop fruitiness evident. Quite sweet with a fruity finish. My score 15/20.
Kent - Pale4.00ExcellentNew strength from its new home and an excellent pale ale. Slight sulphour on the nose, then an explosion of citrussy hops with some malt balance too. My score 16/20.
White - Franklin's Original3.80GoodQuite a malty brew with a good biscuity malt flavour. Some hop and fruit in the finish. My score 15/20.
York (now brewed by and at Black Sheep) - Long Daze4.30GoodQuite bitter pale ale with good hop bitterness. My score 15/20.
Plassey - Gertie Sweet New World Pale3.90GoodBrewed by the former Hanby brewer at Plassey, this is a well balanced pale bitter with a good bitter hop character. My score 15/20.
Rother Valley - Exit5.70AcceptableStrong bitter with a rather dry, fruity flavour, leading to an appley aftertaste. My score 14/20.
Ridgeside - Desert Aire4.80AcceptableStrong golden ale with an assertive dry, citrus hop character. A little too dry and bitter for me. My score 14/20.
