Evening. Having failed miserably to find the nearest local Micropub despite lengthy wandering I retired here for a real quicky.

09:40 First stop of the day. Coffee was the plan but they were serving alcohol so push came to shove. Splendid interior, the main seating area has been altered in recent years but there is a wealth of original features remaining from 1900 when the pub was built.

Just had to check this one out. Right outside the station and, due to it's very attractive interior, well worth inclusion for this site. Only two ales on and very sport orientated with the big screens on, but well worth a final "port of call" back to the station. And, for a future visit, B&B noted at £30 including breeakfast too.

The pub is found in Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 1UR.

A perfectly preserved example of a Victorian pub sited opposite Worthing railway station. Its excellent, unmolested interior, glass screens and lashings of brass and panelled wood are worthy of particular note. Attached next door is the hotel's nightclub and 18 en-suite rooms are available. 4 handpumps. Closed then reopened in 2023 after refurbishment with a new name and operated by Portobello.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
