Three of us came in here for an afternoon visit and it proved to be a good choice. A proper village pub as they used to be.

Early afternoon we were the only customers, my first visit and took an instant like to the place. Friendly welcome in this unspoilt proper boozer with an impressive view from the terrace.

16:00 visit. The second pub in this quaint vilage, and again, well supported too. Lovely garden with far reaching Weald views. Darts and skittles for entertainment. And one of our our trio won the meat raffle too!

Community pub with major darts interest. Panoramic views of the Weald of Kent from the bar, and rear decking that overlooks the sloping garden. Planning application made for conversion to housing. Boarded up.
We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
