It’s rather busy in here at lunchtime, with every table taken and two deep at the bar. After a while though I realise that I know almost everybody; all in Hull for the same football match as me. To our London palates, we are all finding the beer a bit too cold and a bit too creamy.

Just a small crowd in here in the late afternoon. Along with everyone else, I was offered a plate of complimentary sandwiches to help the beer go down. Wide selection of beers to chose from.
