Oh dear, I used to like this pub but today it was noisy and unwelcoming. Three of the four handpumps are now used for cider, replacing some of the ales, and there is a massive font with a huge choice of keg beers and Prosecco.

Afternoon visit for a pint and a sandwich. Both were very enjoyable. I drank a Wantsum beer which was called Uhelski, Uholski or something like that at 4.3% but I am not sure of the spelling and have not (yet) listed it below.

I saw they had a Canterbury Ales beer on so I came in. It was quite quiet.

Located on a side street off the lower High Street, this pub is popular with students and locals alike. Juke box is normally pretty good and there are normally a couple of real ales on as well as real cider. The pub is quite small so can feel cosy on busy days/evenings
