I honestly had no idea that such a thing existed as a posh area of Manchester, but exist it does and this pub appears to be at the epicentre. Busy at lunchtime, mostly with diners, and we sat outside at the front.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Bootleg - Chorlton Pale Ale4.00ExcellentI thought this was a classic, straw-coloured, Manchester-style Bitter – to the extent that I can remember such things.
Bootleg - Urban Fox4.20AcceptableA Red Ale, and, to be honest, a bit too red for me.

Busy with pre Christmas diners on a Tuesday lunchtime.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Bootleg - Chorlton Pale Ale4.00AcceptableServed too cold with a chill haze, knocking out most of the flavour in the beer. Some hoppiness in there somewhere. Didn't wait for it to warm up as other places were calling. My score 14/20 with B for quality, has potential to be better.
Beartown (latterly part of Manning Brewers) - Santa's Claws4.50Not Tried
