12:45 Looking for lunch and came here as it had been some time since I last visited. Just two others in when we first got there. The menu is very interesting as the chef is keen to use fresh seasonal food. Rabbit, beef skirt, cockles and sweetbreads were on offer. Conversation with the barmaid and the other customers centred on unusual foods eaten. I won with a meal of nerves I ate in Italy.

Anniversary beer festival for the current Landlords. Lots of Milton beers on the handpumps as this is a Milton house but a good selection of other beers on gravity.
