Just 10 minutes walk from my house, so I popped in at opening time on Sunday and was most surprised and pleased with what I found. Only one beer had run out.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Rockin Robin - Hoppin Robin3.70ExcellentSweet malt and fruit dominate with a soft hoppiness. Very drinkable with a fruity finish. My score 16/20.
Potbelly - Crazy Daze5.50GoodPale IPA style with sweetish malt flavours balanced by fruity hop. Full bodied with a slightly vineous finish. My score 15/20.
Tonbridge - Golden Braun3.20GoodSpelt "Braun" on the pumpclip, as it is a take on a German Altbier, albeit a low strength version. Fairly bitter with some malt and a light fruitiness from the German hops. My score 15/20.
Farmer's Ales (Maldon Brewing) - Cavalier4.00GoodMalty amber bitter with some fruity hop flavour. My score 15/20.
Island Brewery - Wight Knight4.50AcceptableShown as Wight Knight on pumpclip, dark gold in colour with a fairly sharp hop flavour. The finish is dry and sharp. My score 13/20.
Tring - Bob's Pass4.40AcceptableRather harsh flavours to this amber bitter, derived from amber malt and challenger hops, a bitter combination. My score 13/20.

Early afternoon through to closing. Not as busy as yesterday and the music (mostly provided by youngsters and very impressive they were) was a good deal quieter...bliss!

Arrived about 1pm and there was plenty of room to sit in the marquee. Watched the match and returned for the evening session. The marquee soon filled up with people and some noisy bands but relief was to be had outside. Good selection of ales some of which were not on the programme.

Good atmosphere though some of the bands were a little too loud for the venue. More beers than listed were available.
