12:50 Half an hour between trains so the pub beckoned. Just four others in. Friendly barmaid, CAMRA discount offered without me asking. I probably need to lose some weight.

The pub is found in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN1 3AA.

The nearest pub to the Railway station - literally 1 minute and 30 seconds. Was run until recently, 2012, by the licensee at The Corner Pin. Was to let in 2012. A visit since then, 2015, would suggest that the pub has been given a new lease of life. The display of pumpclips above the bar advertises the large range of beers that the pub has stocked. A substantial CAMRA discount is also available. The pub has two rooms, a large room with the bar and a small snug to the left of the bar.

We have visited this pub 7 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 3 of them.
