Busy with an after work crowd; no prohibition on working clothes here. Good to see this pub back in the Good Beer Guide, but beer on disappointing form tonight.

The pub is found in Walthamstow, Greater London, E17 7HF.

For the first 80 years of this pub’s life it was simply an off-licence – until it was converted to pub use in 1976, named the Lord Kitchener, an Ind Coope house. By 1986 it had been re-named the Coppermill. It has a small, single bar and a selection of pavement tables and benches. Tucked away in a residential backstreet, but not far from St James Street railway station.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
