My first port of call on the 2012 Nottingham Mild trail. Pub was fairly quiet despite its proximity to the football grounds.

Castle Rock - Black Gold Mild3.80GoodDark brown mild with a roast malt flavour that imparts some bitterness to the beer. Low hopping and a fairly dry finish. My score 15/20.
