Just a scattering of customers this evening and the pub is accepting card payments only as an anti-virus measure.
BeerABVScoreNotes

East London (ELB) - Foundation Bitter4.20Not Tried
Three Sods - Rooi Kabouter Red Ale4.90Not Tried

The busiest I have encountered this pub. This was despite (or perhaps because of) the group of musicians gathered at one end jamming some folksy/bluegrass sort of stuff. Very pleasant.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Pig & Porter - Dance First4.20ExcellentA very decent Stout.
East London (ELB) - Foundation Bitter4.20Not Tried
Hammerton - N75.20Not Tried

This basic boozer has a slightly disconcerting other-worldliness about it. I see that as an attribute. There are now three handpumps on the bar.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Pig & Porter - Pattern Recognition4.20GoodA golden beer, brewed with experimental hop EXP431. Tasty, but just a little thin I thought.
Colchester - Sweeney Todd4.20Not Tried
Stod Fold - Dr Harris5.70Not Tried
24 May 2013 (Stephen Harris)
Early evening visit with pouring rain outside. Quite a few taking shelter within.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Shamblemoose - #7 Wyoming Pale Ale4.00GoodAmber-coloured. Full-bodied and malty.
14 Jun 2012 (Stephen Harris)
Brief visit to see the latest incarnation of this pub which I used to use in its Firkin days. A small crowd watching TV football, with live music to come later in the evening. Just the one handpump.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harbour - Double IPA No. 16.80ExcellentServed on keg dispense, but not over-gassed. Golden in colour. A floral hop aroma and a fruity hop taste.
London Fields - Hackney Hopster4.20GoodAmber-coloured, sweetish malt, heavy Pacific hop presence, dry and bitter aftertaste.

The pub is found in Holloway, Greater London, N7 8JL.

This pub was established by 1861 as the Lamb and also served as the Highbury Brewery Tap. Well-known from its 1980s/1990s incarnation as the Flounder & Firkin, it emerged from Firkinisation as Barcosa for a while and since February 2012 is back to being the Lamb. The frontage has some nice, green faience tiles, and the front bar has wood panelling. Basically furnished, with a rather distressed, wood-planking floor.

We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 12 different beers and tried 7 of them.
