13:45 Lunch stop. The Barmaid very kindly switched the model railway on for me. Whilst we were there a party of uniformed Policemen and Women came in for lunch. Something I have never seen before. One quirky note, to access the outside gents you have to go via the public footpath outside as they are attached to but not accessible directly from the pub.

Quiet peaceful pub (until we turned up) world's away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton just across the railway/A27 road.

I had never been here before, but I was very impressed, and this pub is so easy to get to, being adjacent to Falmer railway station. Service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed the model Deutsche Bahn trains running above the bare.

Warm welcome to a lovely unspoilt villagey pub. The volumes of Palmers sold is, I suspect, exceptional. The whole busload of us were quickly served.

The pub is found in Falmer, East Sussex, BN1 9PD.

Located in Middle Street, Falmer. A one minute walk from the railway station and now located very close to the Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club's Amex stadium. On line blogs tell of a long running dispute in the past over football matters. A rare regular outlet in these parts for Palmers Brewery products. A traditional pub inside. The Palmers is pulled from one of two un-pumpclipped handles.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
