1800 hours visit. A few locals in residence. This is an area of Ryde I have not explored before. Try also the Simeon Arms round the corner.

Located in Monkton Street in a residential area east (and just inland) of the Esplanade tourist area. 2 bar pub with dark wood doors and dark wood lower half wall panelling. Usually 2 real ales on dispense. Live music on Friday nights and Sunday early evenings and other times quite often too.
