An attractive, traditional pub just off Carlisle town centre in Lowther Street and less than ten minutes walk from the railway station. The frontage retains some good quality tiling from the days before Carlisle’s pubs were nationalised. Inside there is a selection of small rooms to pick from around a central bar. Closed September 2023 but re-opening expected.
