Evening, two visits - at 5 for a pint then 7 for a meal. Jolly local propping up the corner of the bar throughout. A good traditional pub in a quaint village.

17:45 Busy, poker school underway in the rear room. Beer conversation led to the Barman taking me to meet the assistant brewer and see the brewery.

After a long drive from London, we arrived here just too late for lunch. As we entered the car park, we saw the chef leaving. But at least we got to try some of the home-brew. Twenty five years since my previous visit.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Clun - Citadel5.40ExcellentFull bodied, pale and strong. Stuffed with hops and in the IPA style. Has a slight mustiness that I associate with Green Bullet hops. Long, dry finish. Worth the journey to drink at source.
