Visit by the Thursday evening mild drinkers by preserved bus. A warm evening so use of the large garden was made.

Mighty Oak - Oscar Wilde Mild3.70ExcellentExcellent sample here on gravity, full flavoured sweetness of toffee, caramel, vanilla and berry fruits. Low hop rate and a lingering fruity finish. My score 17/20.
Brentwood - Marvellous Maple Mild3.70GoodMalty brown mild with a bittersweet flavour from the malt and maple. Slight fruity hoppiness in the finish. My score 15/20.

The pub is found in Mill Green, Essex, CM4 0PT.

Located in Mill Green Road. Unspoilt Grade II listed country pub set in woodland in one of the more rural parts of Essex. Central bar serving two rooms either side. Stone floors, beams and wooden doors add to the rustic feel. Ales are served by gravity and handpump, with a house brew and other local ales on offer. Re-opened Saturday 19th November 2022 after a two-year period of closure and refurbishment.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
