Late afternoon and a group of twelve of us descended on this pub and were made very welcome. I have always liked this Fuller's house.

2155 hours visit. Small groups seated. Very helpful lady bar staff had some difficulty in getting into my thick head the location of the most hidden Royal Mail pillar box in all of England although just opposite!

The pub is found in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 2EF.

Located in Gravel Path on the corner of George Street with frontage on and access to the canal towpath. Fuller's house of unknown heritage - the interior is a mix of old and new looking. Large U shaped bar with 2 banks of 3 handpumps selling only Fuller's brands. Dark stained wooden flooring and drinking area with seats out the front overlooking the Grand Union Canal.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
