Mid evening visit. A sole un-badged handpump told a story of no real ale so lingered no longer.

Another old pub with a chequered past. A friendly young Canadian couple appear to be in charge and they've made some progress with this place. The large back room is being geared up for dining. The front bar is nicely done out with sofas and small tables. Previously, a gbg entry in the years 1983/8/90-4/6/2004/8/9. Worth a look in.

On London Road, a grand old late Victorian corner pub previously called Eagle Inn and originally Eagle Hotel. Large rear dining area and open plan front area, with windows all around, with a half round bar. At one time a rare Courage owned pub in Dover. Has yo-yoed with real ale provision and suffered regular periods of closure and re-launch. Currently no real ale sold.
