12:00 visit. Fair local crowd in and a good ale range on. Another new JD, easily found on the bus from Eccles. Opened 9 months prior and looks and smells as new. Impressive conversion of a grand old Victorian pub. One of the better JD's.

The pub is found in Walkden, Greater Manchester, M28 3NJ.

Impressive conversion and renovation of the ex Bulls Head Hotel, which has stood on this site for over a century. This JDW opened in January 2012. Nicely fitted out with several drinking/dining areas and a decent garden. Lots of local pictures and history info of times past adorn the walls.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
