13:00 visit. En-route back to Eccles on the bus, realised there were two gbg's to have a look at. This first one was easily found, on said bus route, and very nice too. Capacious old type but well modernised interior. Lot's of diners in. Ale range was fair. Current 2013 gbg entry and 5 times previous in; 1974/2006/7/11/2

The pub is found in Worsley, Greater Manchester, M28 2PD.

A large roadside pub, built in 1903, near the village green and the Bridgewater Canal, the first canal built in the country. Very spacious interior with many different areas for both dining and drinking. A large bar area has numerous handpumps serving local and national ales. Quality food menu and a beer garden too. A current 2012 GBG, has also been in 1974/2006/7/11.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
