1200 visit. Our first stop on the annual Maidstone & Mid Kent CAMRA vintage bus trip. Cracking country pub, friendly, welcoming couple and no less then seven Real Ales on for our group to choose from. We filled the place up very swiftly! (Note, some local CAMRA "politics" no doubt, has kept this excellant pub out of the 2013 guide. We know not why?).
BeerABVScoreNotes
Downlands (formerly South Downs) - Three Rings5.20ExceptionalAnother new LocAle brewery, but no "gen" found on this one. Went down well with most of the group too.
Hastings - Hastings Porter4.50ExcellentTop class again, from over the border, and the fourth winner today. And this was only our first pub!
Reedley Hallows - Monkholme Premium4.20ExcellentA new brewery for me, this one fron Burnley, Lancs. And top class too.
Bays - Hoppy Days4.20ExcellentThird new ale today. This one from Paignton, Devon.
Surrey Hills - Ranmore Ale3.80GoodIn tip top condition. A pint of this devoured.
