Change of itinery was Cowfield was expecting 4 football teams so would be rather busy. I was slow to the bar and so didn't see the Turners as run out. CAMRA card discounts here too.

17:30 visit. Our last call today, this one, a slight change of plan from the intended visit to Cowfold (Hare & Hounds), I know not why, but this pub was an excellant alternative for sure. I think it fair to say, a good day had by all with many LocAle winners found. Note to our excellant branch chairman, we must do this more often!

The pub is found in Nuthurst, West Sussex, RH13 6LH.

A multi roomed village local, on various levels. Exposed beams, brickwork, flagstone floors and a feature inglenook fireplace in the main bar. Outside, a terraced garden area fronts a delightful stream. A current 2013 gbg and six times previous in the guide; 1983-5/2004-6.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
