09 Dec 2019 (Magnus Greel)
Mid afternoon a few locals enjoying a pint or two, many tacky Christmas paraphernalia adorning walls, tables etc in a scene which could've been plucked from Phoenix Nights!

Evening, down a pint in 3, visit on a truncated Macclesfield crawl due to earlier train delays.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Holt's (see also Joseph Holt) - Bitter4.00ExcellentIn lovely nick. We so often ignore mid-brown bitters from long established family brewers at our peril in a sea of cask citrus lemon juice beers and craft fizz mediocracy
