15:30 visit. A train from nearby Huyton to Broad Green then a decent walk soon found this large roadside Wetherspoons, a nice district just East of the City. Well furnished and comfortable throughout with a sparse, but decent local crowd in. Ale range was moderate.

The pub is found in Liverpool, Merseyside, L15 6XS.

Wetherspoon's conversion of a former licensed premises that has been sited on this busy major road junction for many years. Well proportioned, and tastefully furnished throughout, with several separate drinking/dining areas. Opened in February 2010 and with all you'd expect from this large pub company. A first time 2013 GBG entry. Also, previously, as an ex Higsons pub, a GBG entry in 1997/2012.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
