A very pleasant bar near the railway station- I liked it a lot. There are now four handpumps.

23 Nov 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
5.30pm on a Friday and the place is rammed with student types. My entrance raises the average age somewhat.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hardknott - Colonial Mayhem8.10ExcellentDark ruby in colour, advertised as a strong mild on the pump clip and I wouldn't argue with that. Sweet and fruity with a full bodied malty character and at £3.75 a half probably the most expensive mild I have ever bought. My score 16/20.

The pub is found in Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 5DL.

Recently opened "craft" beer style bar, mainly concentrating on bottled and keg beers, but four handpumps dispense cask ales from localish microbreweries. Third and two thirds measures are also available. Decor is modern and minimalist and the bar appeals to the younger set.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 4 of them.
