Evening. Everyone seemed to be trying to talk making it so yesterday to have noisy music pumping out. Impersonal service. No evidence was extant that this is a Greene King house.

We found this pub by accident, we had intended to go to the Black Lion down the road, (not to be confused with the Black Lion Hampstead which is owned by the same group as this pub) and found it to be closed. On the basis of "lets find another pub while we wait for the next train", we popped in here and were delighted with the amount of original fixtures and fittings, and the range of beers on offer.

Remarkably intact large pub situated at the north end of Kilburn High Road close to Brondesbury railway station and Kilburn Underground station. Metropolitan Pub Co. is a Greene King pub brand. Large oblong servery operates on three sides. On two sides the bar counter has a brown speckled stone trough spittoon at its base. 5 handpumps amidst a plethora of fizz fonts.
