Lunchtime after a very pleasant morning in the nearby RSPB reserve at Minnsmere. Pleasant lunch - the granddaughters played happily on the Ghost Ship.

Staying two nights with our granddaughter for a visit to the Latitude festival. One of our favourite pubs. Thursday night is Squit Night! About a dozen musicians playing a variety of music and spoken verse. Wonderful and the pub is crammed.

12:40 Visiting a friend in Saxmundham, offered a choice of where to go for lunch he chose here as the Tally Ho may have made an appearance. The pin on the bar told us it had. The pub was very busy, mainly diners, but there were a few drinkers. First came here in 1992 and it has gone steadily upmarket since then.

Still here - afer a day at the Latitude Festival at which I stayed "dry". All the better to enjoy a pint or two back here after. Same beers on - same two tried - same ratings as last night.
