The owners are away so the regulars are having a beer festival! Busy just before 1. 10 ales on, first day.
Shivering Sands - Ribersborg Stout4.70ExcellentThe tasting notes were a bit OTT “A dark dry ale, 4 different malts, overtones of liquorice and charred toast with hints of lemongrass and pine needles.” Very good.

Nice pub. A few in. There were 2 other beers on but I can't remember what they were.
Westerham - Finchcocks Original3.50PoorIt's hard to tell but I think this was on the turn. It had a faint smell of vinegar and wasn't great.
Rother Valley - Black Ops3.80Not Tried

Lunchtime - about a dozen in. Conversations flowing., nice atmosphere.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Summer's Day4.30AcceptableI'd fiorgotten that I'd had this recently and wasn't keen - expecting something a little lblonder and hoppierr. Rating also reflects that my pint was well short (I checked that it wasn't an oversize glass). Unusual in a micropub.

The pub is found in Herne Bay, Kent, CT6 5EA.

Located in a former care business office in Bank Street this latest addition to Kent's micropubs opened its doors at noon on Saturday 4th May 2013 in time to catch the May Day bank holiday traffic.
