Not my choice of pub and I didn’t really like the ‘hotel restaurant’ type atmosphere inside. Pleasant enough once we were safely out in the back garden, where I managed to get sunburnt.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentThis was rather good, especially after what had gone before.
Hook Norton - Lion (aka Cotswold Lion)4.00AcceptableOver-chilled and a bit flat once the foam from the vigorous pumping had subsided. In this condition, it did not taste of anything much.

The pub is found in Brasted, Kent, TN16 1JE.

A very large pub in High Street, beside the busy A25 which thunders through this west Kent village. It is basically Mock Tudor. But some is mock-Mock Tudor I think, if that makes sense, and was probably not around in the good old Mock Tudor times of yore. Much modernised inside and pretty much entirely given over to dining. There is a very large carpark alongside and an extensive rear garden. Real ales served through exaggerated swan necks.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
