Grade II* listed ancient building in Chapel Street, originally renovated and turned into a pub by CAMRA Investments. Been through lots of changes and including as a Wetherspoon's. Lots of different areas including an upstairs room. Included in documentation for the sale of 34 Wetherspoon's pubs in November 2015. Taken over by Hawthorn Leisure in June 2016 and later closed for a refurbishment and transformation. New name for when it re-opens already decided upon and published. Re-opened summer 2018 with the upstairs transformed into a restaurant area. Closed once more end January 2019. Reported to have re-opened as Lattice House again later in 2019 and closed once more on 25th July 2019. Re-opened in summer 2023
