13:00 Came for a walk on West Runton beach, lunch here beforehand was the obvious option. Initially had the pub to ourselves but the garden was busy. I can recommend the crab sandwiches.

The pub is found in West Runton, Norfolk, NR27 9QP.

Rambling building in mock Tudor style. Two rooms served from a central bar with a flint faced counter. Further room at the rear and a dining room to the left of the bar. Good selection of local bottled beers. Until the early Eighties there was building at the rear called the Pavilion that provided a warm-up gig location for many groups including Deep Purple and the Clash.

We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 6 different beers and tried 4 of them.
