Evening visit until midnight close.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Truman's - Scorcher4.20Good
Beartown - Bearskinful (aka Premium or SB)4.20UndrinkableThe clip described this as Premium Bitter Malty & Toffee. What came through was unadulterated acetic sharp. It was changed with good grace and the barman agreed it was ugh. Would bet it is left on sale as discussions behind the bar gave at least one "nothing wrong with it" observation.

Evening visit until midnight close. Once again beer range did not inspire so a Cockeyed Pear Mania at 7% sufficed.

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during the day attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 316 times, seen 659 different beers and tried 284 of them.
