Evening until 11pm close. Nothing much ever changes here but the rare enamel outline Courage cockerel on the outside front wall has been covered up with plastic signs. I hope it is still underneath.

Evening visit. Not been here for maybe 8 years but nothing has changed. Fixtures, fittings, furnishings, barman and the core of mainly mature customers all the same in a fast changing World. I recommend a visit here to all this site's browsers.

The final pub in our Lewisham tour. Took a while to get here as we had to walk over Black Heath. The pub was quite when we arived but a thunderstorm soon gave us some entertainment.

The pub is found in Lee, Greater London, SE13 5BU.

Located in Kingswood Place in the Victorian streets on the Blackheath / Lee borders. A small street corner pub split into 3 large double boothed areas with a bar on the side. Internal decor includes the archetypal Courage high dark wood panelling and leaded windows all beautifully preserved. Lots of wall decorations and trinkets on window ledges and shelves. Has a quiet garden drinking area accessed by grand old wooden double doors from the bar. Has a rather rare enamel outline Courage cockerel on the building's tiled front fascia but now covered up. 6 handpumps in banks of 4 and 2.

We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 15 different beers and tried 5 of them.
