11:55 Two customers, three staff. My first visit here since the early eighties. Nothing had changed apart from the glass storage structure over the bar. Great pub.

Early evening and I was possibly the youngest customer, I had just walked out of another nearby pub because I was probably the oldest by a very long way. This pub is a good traditional proper boozer.
BeerABVScoreNotes
St Austell - Tribute4.20ExcellentIn superb condition which is not surprising as this pub sells about four to five Kils of it in a week.

I had never been here before, there was no mention of any ales advertised outside, and there was a For Sale board above the door, but I ventured inside to see what was on offer. What a surprise, a good traditonal proper boozer, the place was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Amazingly I was one of the youngest customers on a Saturday night, and I am 65. I liked this pub so much that I returned on my way back to the station.

St Austell - Tribute4.20ExceptionalThere is a lot to be said for keeping one beer, and keeping it well. This was as good as it gets.
