Late morning, I had tried a couple of pubs but found that they did not open until 12:00 so I found myself in here. I was the only customer but not the first as I was informed that somebody else had been in for a quick one between trains. The pub was preparing itself a busy day. I was surprised to find that there were no Clark's beers on today.

The pub is found in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF2 9SR.
Brewery tap for the Clark's brewery at the rear. Convenient for Westgate railway station. One large room, bare boards. Brewery vessel panels adorn the front of the bar counter. A wort receiver is hanging above the bar. Always a friendly welcome.
