Visits Details

05 Jul 2013 (Philip Pirrip)
Afternoon lunchtime visit with large party. Nice and quiet in the back snug.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brains - SA4.20GoodNew cask on was nice and fresh but hazy although drinkable. Some earlier servings from old cask were sludge which recipients had replaced only upon request

Black Sheep - Best Bitter3.80Not Tried
Brains - Flowers Original4.40Not TriedSubsequent research identified this as Brains contract brewed. Why do they hide the provenance and the abv? Presumably done to mislead in some way especially on provenance
