I liked this place, it feels like it has been a pub for centuries but in fact it only became a pub after WW2.

The pub is found in Scampton, Lincolnshire, LN1 2SD.

Pub with accommodation and a food emphasis. Feels like it has been a pub forever but in fact was originally a farmhouse then a Post Office then only latterly a pub well after World War 2. Is quite a shrine with artefacts of and celebration to the RAF's 617 Squadron "The Dambusters" which had been formed in March 1943 at the nearby aerodrome. 5 handpumps for real ale plus 2 more regularly carrying ciders. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2016.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
