Busy with both drinkers and diners. We ate and were impressed with the food, and I was impressed with the beer.

Former coaching inn in London Road, the pub is thatched and heavily beamed. The bar is L shaped with the long arm for drinkers and the short one for diners. There is another small dining room and a separate restaurant. The pub also has an extensive garden. The pub is good for both beer and food. Re-opened autumn 2023 operated by the Snug Hospitality.
