Lunchtime visit with a mate. The pub appears smarter outside than is the reality inside. The welcome was friendly, but we were disappointed with the beer quality.

The pub is found in Hadleigh, Suffolk, IP7 5EF.

An historic, High Street pub in a pretty and well-preserved Suffolk wool town. The pub presents a long, white-painted frontage on to the high street. Much modernised inside – essentially all one room, but there are two distinct drinking areas. Courtyard garden to rear.

We have visited this pub once, seen 6 different beers and tried 2 of them.
