Evening. Almost empty - no atmosphere just several loud TVs giving an out of synch stereo echo effect. Short stay. Remember this when Tetley Bitter was gushing in the men only bar.

Located in Bootham, on a street corner, just outside the City walls by Bootham Bar gate. Once a Tetley's Heritage Inn and was listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 1974 as having a men-only bar. Subsequently significantly refurbished into an opened up single bar. Popular with sports fans and has a number of TV screens. 6 handpumps in two sets of 3.
