Evening. Smaller than usual turnout of Friday evening group. This is the first pub I have visited for years that does not use pump clips on the handpumps making them look very bare and making beer selection much more difficult.

The pub is found in Didcot, Oxfordshire, OX11 0BS.

Just outside the town centre a large detached house on Wantage Road with a very large garden equipped with round picnic style seating. Regular event nights including open mic and themed food. A classic, family friendly pub. The primary focus behind the bar is on traditional real ales, and is the home of the local CAMRA branch. Aside from the bar there are traditional pub games - pool, darts, pinball, and aunt sally. There is a snug too for quieter drinking. 8 handpumps in total being 4 in the main front bar and 4 in the rear quieter snug.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
