The pub is found in Catford, Greater London, SE6 4BD.
Recently called the Goose on the Green and then Goose Catford which reverted back to its original name after refurbishment and a re-opening in late November 2014. It is located in Rushey Green opposite the town hall and The Broadway Theatre. One main front bar and a semi-circular bar counter with 3 handpumps (at December 2021 not used) facing the front windows. Large rear room area with a stage for live music. Impressive bar back which is probably not original. Period of closure then relaunched by the Laine Pub Company, a Brighton based outfit now owned by one of the big boy companies, with its new name too in early February 2019 and having an eclectic range of tables and seating. Function room on the 1st floor and a 9 room "immersive theatre experience" is planned for the 2nd floor as a separate entrance chargeable enterprise. Unexpectedly closed early April 2024 but promises some new venture here.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 10 different beers and tried 5 of them.
