Jane had driven past this place last week and fancied coming for lunch. Fine by me. The interior is nice and roomy without loosing an intimate feel. The staff were friendly.w

The pub is found in Hacklinge, Kent, CT14 0AT.

Originally built in Sandwich Road at the turn of the 20th century as a coaching inn, the pub has survived many changes, being turned into a night club - Gig's Night Spot during the 1980s. Purchased by current owners in 2002. Restaurant and B&B accommodation. Closed for refurbishment and a renaming which planned re-opening summer 2023.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
