Greenwich was packed this-evening with the Tall Ships visiting and a free firework display to come at 9:15. So it was a surprise to find this pub very quiet. Between three of us we tried all three beers that were available and none were found to be in particularly good nick.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Rebel - Sail Ale4.00AcceptableA standard brown bitter, it rather flat condition from gravity dispense.

No TV here, so it was very quiet on Friday evening whilst the England football friendly was in progress.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Twickenham (also uses sub-brand Old Hands) - Naked Ladies4.40GoodGolden and well-balanced. Some spicy hop flavours.
Hop Stuff - A.P.A. (Arsenal Pale Ale)3.80GoodGolden and hazy. US-hop flavours dominate. This pint spoiled a little by being served too warm.

My reward for a lengthy riverside wander from Belvedere to Greenwich was a nice sit down in here and a couple of interesting pints. Very welcoming staff.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hop Stuff - Saisonniers4.50GoodPale gold, saison-style beer with a slightly sour, herbal, spicy flavour. For me, it was perhaps a little lacking in body – but I noticed that they only squeezed out two more pints after mine, so perhaps it was getting a bit ‘thin’.
Truefitt - Coffee Porter5.80GoodDark and strong. Pretty heavy on the coffee.
Windsor & Eton - Irish Conqueror5.80Not Tried

Evening. Welcome addition to Greenwich pub scene as it is otherwise almost impossible to get local London real ales in the town. Apparently on-site brewery is likely to materialise later this Winter.

The first time I have ever entered this pub, and it turns out to be somewhat larger inside than I was expecting. Early days, but it seems to be a very good addition to the area’s pubs.
BeerABVScoreNotes
By The Horns - Red Hop5.20GoodRed in colour and a bittersweet experience, with sweet malt and a good hop presence. Perhaps a little towards the end of the barrel though.

The pub is found in Greenwich, Greater London, SE10 9BX.

This pub was present in Thames Street by the early 1850s as the Loyal Briton, later becoming the Old Loyal Britons. The turn of the 21st century has seen a succession of re-launches, mostly with more of a restaurant feel than as a pub. But October 2013 has seen a return to proper pub values, with four handpumps installed, a tendency towards London-brewed beers and a strong link to the putative East Wickham Brewery. A dining area is planned. The RLA in the name comes from the family of proprietors Richard, Lucy and Amy. Closed at short notice in October 2014 when the owners took back the building from the lessee. All reports point to planning permission being obtained for demolition and rebuild as residential. Demolished 2018.

We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 14 different beers and tried 8 of them.
